You are bididng on a 61st fighter squadron patch. This patch is from my father-in law's estate. This roudn patch is 5 in diameter cloth patch has 61st fighter squadron at the bottom with a brown bulldog wearing aviator goggles with a lightning bolt in his mouth. All of thsi is on a blue background. This patch appears to have been worn on a uniform but it is in good shape and you can't see any damage to the patch or the edges.
If you know patches, you know how rare these patches are. Doing some reseacrh on this patch, we think it might date back to wwii.
We also found out that walt disney did a large amount of artwork for the army air corps, and looking at this artwork you can easily see a disney art influence if htis is the case. We know for a fact that my father-in-law was in the army air corps and later a u. S. Air force pilot during the korean war.
