This is a very old box that was in a tool box of tools i got at an action for my husband. Come to find otu he don't like old tools. Don't know much about it ujst this may be why the box i was bidding on everyone wanted.
This was in it. What i do know! I tried to ersearch it and couldn't find one. So i tihnk it may be rare. Also i belieev it might be something to do with the military.
It has a paper stamp on it that says 1st sarg't 74th inf. Alos a name i can't make out. These letters at the end of name that i can make out are ersman. It is army green has the numbers and alph. Dies, a hammer and brass block and a screw that screws on block of brass. It all fti in this old wood box that measure's 8inches by 4 inches. Note i just added trhee new photos numbers. And insert where oyu would lay items to stamp. The round area states tags, the other you can see meat can, knife. Maybe the guy stamped canteen set? Don't know. I did ifnd the mans name robert steele. Hoep that helps. Note also added below.
